“The voice can only reproduce what the ear can hear.”

                                                                                   Dr. Tomatis

The Spiritual Tomatis Effect deafens the voice of God by

  • Negative SELF-TALK
  • Voices of CRITICISM
  • Satan’s voice of CONDEMNATION that lies to you
  • The world that DROWNS the voice of the Spirit
  • What’s your Spiritual Tomatis Effect? ____________________________

***What is keeping God from being the loudest voice in your life?***

“PING”

Packet Inter-Network Groper

As a verb, ping means, “to check for the PRESENCE of…”

Seven pings of GOD’S VOICE in this series:
  • Scripture
  • Desires
  • Doors
  • Dreams
  • People
  • Promptings
  • Pain

God’s voice often comes in the form of a WHISPER

  • 1 Kings 19:11-12 – “..the Lord was not in the wind…the Lord was not in the earthquake…the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper.

Why does God more often whisper than not?  He knows that PROXIMITY affects INTIMACY which increases RECEPTIVITY.

21 Day Fast

  • Purpose: To Discover How God Speaks and Increase Proximity to Him
  • January 6-26
  • Daniel 10:1-3
  • Prayer – A simple daily prayer guide will be provided
  • Scripture – Ephesians 1-6 X 3. Each of the three weeks we will read the 6 Chapters of Ephesians – one chapter per day.
  • Each week we will be investigating what the words of Paul to the Ephesians say about:
    • Week 1 – Who you are to GOD;
    • Week 2 – Who God IS; and
    • Week 3 – What God DOES

A Bold Prayer – Speak, Lord.  Your servant is listening (1 Samuel 3:10)

  1. Pray the BRAVEST prayer you can pray
  2. Recall a WHISPER of God you once heard
  3. Commit to get STILL for 21 days

  • Psalm 46:10 – Be still, and know that I am God!

WHY DOES GOD SPEAK TO US?  Because HE WANTS to!

Some things to remember about God’s love:

  • God doesn’t love us because of who we are. God loves us because of who He is.
  • When we SUCCEED, God says, “I love you.”
  • When we FAIL, God says, “I love you.”
  • When we don’t have FAITH, God says, “I love you.”
  • When we DOUBT God says, “I love you.”

“Every Christian I meet…cannot quite believe that they are loved by God.”

Justin Welby,
Arch Bishop of Canterbury

Believe it or not, God loves you and has something to say to you if you will be still,

get close, and listen to his gentle whisper.

“You are my precious child and nothing else matters more!”
